Here is the menu for the dinner event on Sunday, July 25:

First Appetizer

Organic Local Mixed Greens, Cucumbers, Carrots, Beets, Tamari-Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Tossed in an Orange Mint Vinaigrette

Second Appetizer (Bonus Course)

Zucchini Rice Cakes with Vegan Tartar Sauce

Main Course

Chickpea Cutlets Scallopine in a White Wine Lemon Caper Sauce, Served with Sauteed Organic Leafy Greens and Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Dessert

Chocolate Truffle Molten Cake and Berry Compote

Dinner Benefiting Sea Shepherd — Sunday, July 25

We are so excited to host another benefit dinner! Come join us for another night of great food, great fun, and great cause. Just like last time, we will be serving a gourmet vegan dinner at Cafe Evolution in Florence. The dinner will be on Sunday, July 25, at 7pm. This time all proceeds will go to Sea Shepherd, an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization, whose mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. Specifically, funds raised at this dinner will go to Sea Shepherd’s Gulf Rescue Campaign to save marine wildlife in the Gulf of Mexico from the devastating recent oil spills.

Depending on the ticket that you purchase, you will enjoy either three or four courses of delicious vegan food prepared by our certified natural chef, Alice Cherng. Menu items will be mostly local and seasonal. The menu will be posted on the site a few weeks before the event, so check back if you’re curious! But don’t worry, it will be delicious no matter what.

What?
A charity dinner that benefits Sea Shepherd. Guests will enjoy gourmet vegan dishes prepared fresh with 100% animal-free ingredients.

How Much?
Tickets start at $25, which includes three vegan courses. For $35, you will enjoy four vegan courses, and for $45, you will enjoy four vegan courses and a limited-quantity goodie bag that will be worth the extra bucks!

How to Buy Tickets?
Currently, tickets can be purchased through Paypal or personal check. Go to Tickets for instructions. No tickets will be sold at the door as we tend to sell out before the event takes place.

Alcohol?
Please bring your own beer and wine. There will be complimentary non-alcoholic beverages available.

Entertainment?
Of course! We’re lucky to again have great live music provided by jazz group, Flying Carpet.
